Al-Khirsan mixes between Middle East traditions and Western classical culture he to lead the tradition to the future. His works show includes different dimensions such as the art of modernity, , speaking forms, architectures, both narrative as well as abstract. Firas intimate relation with architecture and its major forms, is reflected also in the numerous prizes and awards, which he received. He always integrates the natural and artificial light as a sculptural defining
Element, so that his art objects are usually very delicate, despite the really big Dimensions. Behind the art lies an interesting person with so cio-cultural backgrounds, amazing talent and love of art.

I am working and living in Düsseldorf, Germany.

1986 - 1991 I have studied at the Institute of Fine Arts, Basrah - Diplom of Sculpture.

1991 - 1995 I have made some sculptures and various art works for government buildings.

I have had different exhibitions in Iraq and Germany.

My art works has been acquired by art collectors from different  countries: Great Britain, U.S.A.,

Germany, Italy, France and Iraq.
